Angie Dasbach

AD

Angie Dasbach has served as Allegiance Refining's Senior Strategic Communications Advisor since its inception. She leads all internal and external communications, as well as media, community, government, and public relations.

 

Ms. Dasbach has more than 25 years of combined experience in journalism and corporate communications. She began her career as a business reporter and online journalist, spending several years writing for The Kansas City Star, The Topeka Capital-Journal, the Business Journal of Kansas City, and the Johnson County Business Times, and later transitioned to corporate communications at Harley-Davidson Motor Company in Kansas City, where she served as a Senior Communications Specialist focused on helping the company with its change management needs.  

 

Ms. Dasbach spent the majority of her career at CVR Energy, a publicly traded petrochemical and nitrogen fertilizer manufacturer, where she first served as its Director of Corporate Affairs from 2004 until 2012. In this role, she founded and spearheaded all internal and external communications, branding, and corporate giving programs, as well as media, community, and public relations for the company and its subsidiaries. In 2012, she was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Affairs, where she spent five years leading strategic communications and public affairs for all CVR Energy companies.  During her long career with the company, Ms. Dasbach directed branding and communications for three IPOs, two mergers and acquisitions, and successfully led crisis communications for several major facility incidents. Prior to joining Allegiance Refining, she led her own strategic communications and public relations firm, Angela Jane Public Relations, where she helped clients in a myriad of industries establish branding, communications, and public relations programs.

 

​Ms. Dasbach holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science, both in Journalism, from the University of Kansas.
