Derek LeBlanc
Derek LeBlanc serves as Allegiance Refining’s Projects and Turnaround Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of turnaround and capital projects.
Mr. LeBlanc has 17 years of experience in project and turnaround management within the oil and gas industry. At the start of his career in 2007, he spent nearly eight years at Flint Hills Resources at its Corpus Christi Complex, first as a Process Operator and later as a Training Coordinator. Mr. LeBlanc then joined Tesoro as a Contract Process Operator at its Carson, California, refinery and later accepted the Process Foreman – Production position at Voestalpine Texas LLC. In 2016, he joined Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., where he would spend nearly six years in positions of increased responsibility, including Senior Process Operator, Maintenance Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Maintenance and Projects Supervisor. Prior to joining Allegiance Refining in 2022 as a Special Projects Supervisor, Mr. LeBlanc served as Maintenance Supervisor at Citgo’s Corpus Christi refinery.
Mr. LeBlanc earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from American Military University.
