Ray Mettetal III is the Chief Executive Officer of Allegiance Refining, LLC, which he founded in late 2020.

 

Mr. Mettetal has 21 years of experience in finance and strategy, including more than 16 years in the refining industry. Throughout his career, he has led the consummation of billions of dollars in transactions, including several IPOs, and directed several business transformations that created value for employees, owners, and communities.

 

Mr. Mettetal previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Operating Partner to the portfolio companies of Brightmark Partners, a growth equity firm, from 2019 to 2020; Managing Director of Stancil & Co., an oil refining consultancy, from 2015 to 2019; Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for CVR Energy, a publicly-traded downstream energy company that owns two oil refineries, from 2011 to 2015; and Director of Strategic Planning for Delek US Holdings, a publicly-traded downstream energy company that owns four oil refineries, from 2006 to 2011.

 

Mr. Mettetal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Accountancy from Belmont University. He is a licensed certified public accountant, accredited in business valuation, and certified in financial forensics.
