Katherine Graebener joined our company in August 2022 and serves as our procurement manager. She oversees all procurement activities for refinery and pipeline operations and the Falls City Terminal.

 

Ms. Graebener has 17 years of procurement experience with half of her career spent in the oil and gas industry in various procurement roles with progressive responsibilities. She served as a senior buyer for Shell Chemical’s Geismar plant and a turnarounds contract specialist at Shell’s Martinez Refinery. After the sale of the Martinez Refinery to PBF Energy, Ms. Graebener remained at the refinery as a senior contracts specialist and later was promoted to western region contract lead, the position she held before joining Allegiance Refining.

 

Ms. Graebener also served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and brings extensive procurement experience from her military career. Her roles included supply response division officer in charge, group fiscal officer, consumables management division officer in charge, supply officer, USMC Flying Hour Program liaison, and aviation supply officer.

 

She received a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and is a Certified Professional in Supply Management and a Department of Defense Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
